Veterans Grave Flag Program - Volunteers needed May 25

The American Legion is looking for volunteers to help place flags on the graves at the Maine Veteran's Memorial Cemeteries on May 25.  On May 25th at 9 am they will gather once again at MVMC in Augusta Civic Center Drive Location just off 95 Top of the hill near the Flag Pole outside the Circle.

Donations are needed for flags.  Make Checks Payable to: The American Legion, In Note Section "Grave Flag Program"

Military Funeral Honors

Family members of a deceased veteran should notify the Funeral Director of their desire to have Military Funeral Honors rendered at the interment of their loved one. The Funeral Director should contact the appropriate military branch Casualty Assistance Center (CAC) of the deceased veteran.
